Gellifawr Standing Stone – Pembrokeshire, Wales

This stone stands next in a field in front of the Gellifawr Woodland Retreat and like many of the solitary standing stones in Pembrokeshire, is thought to have been erected during the Bronze Age. There is a parking area right next to it so this is very easy to access. The Trefach Stone is also just a short distance up the road.. Here is our page covering that stone – The Trefach Stone

Coflein record of this stone: “Standing stone in an enclosed field on a gently sloping west facing terrace above the River Gwaun. The stone is earthfast and notable for its bent profile and flattened top. It measures 1.7m tall, 1.1m wide and 0.7m deep and oriented NW-SE.”

If you follow the public footpath next to the stone, there is a lovely little woodland walk to a little waterfall..

Zeb really enjoyed having a swim on this hot summer evening..
